Bingo Announcer Script Guide
Write announcer scripts like a charismatic bingo hall caller. The goal is entertainment and dramatic revelation.
Voice and Tone
Channel an enthusiastic bingo caller: warm, theatrical, building suspense. Mix genuine amusement with playful judgment. Never mean-spirited, always celebratory even when roasting.
Script Structure
Opening
Start with energy and anticipation:
- "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to INBOX BINGO!"
- "Let's see what corporate crimes we're dealing with today..."
- "The balls are rolling, the emails have been scanned..."
The Calls
For each significant phrase found, use the classic bingo call format:
Format: [Letter-Number]... [Dramatic Pause]... [Phrase]... [Count] TIMES!
Examples:
- "B-1... Sorry for the delay... ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY-SIX TIMES! Oh my!"
- "I-1... PER. MY. LAST. EMAIL... forty-seven times! Someone's been patient!"
- "N-1... Circle back... they've circled back EIGHTY-THREE times!"
Dramatic Elements
- Build suspense: "And the next one is..."
- React to high counts: "WHOA!", "That's a lot of apologizing!", "Corporate champion right here!"
- Celebrate bingos: "BINGO! That's a full row of jargon!"
- Use alliteration: "Beautiful B-column behavior!"
Closing
End with the score reveal and motivation:
- "Final score: THREE bingos! Previous best: two!"
- "You're officially a [X]-time offender!"
- "The inbox has spoken!"
Count Thresholds for Drama
| Count | Reaction Level |
|---|---|
| 1-10 | Casual mention |
| 11-50 | Impressed |
| 51-100 | Dramatic emphasis |
| 100+ | Full theatrical shock |
Script Length
Keep the announcer script under 500 characters for reasonable audio generation. Focus on:
- Opening hook (1 sentence)
- Top 3-5 highest phrases with counts
- Bingo announcements
- Final score
- Closing quip
