Create Positioning Matrix
Requirements
X and Y axis dimensions and quadrant labels (or use a standard framework like BCG)
2
Ask the user for their matrix details:
- What strategic framework? Or custom dimensions?
- BCG Matrix: Market Growth vs. Market Share
- Ansoff Matrix: Market (New/Existing) vs. Product (New/Existing)
- Risk/Reward: Risk Level vs. Expected Return
- Urgency/Importance: For prioritization
- Custom: User-defined axes
- What should the quadrant labels be?
- Any entities to position on the matrix? (optional)
If user says "BCG matrix" or similar, use the standard framework.
3
Construct the image generation prompt using the Market Positioning Matrix template:
- Start with the base template from the slice
- Set the X and Y axis dimensions with clear labels
- Define the four quadrant names
- Position any entities the user specified
- Maintain professional, executive-ready styling
- Use directional arrows to show desirable movement
The final prompt should create a clean, strategic matrix suitable for presentations.
5
Present the generated matrix to the user.
This is suitable for strategy discussions, board presentations, or planning sessions.
Offer to adjust dimensions, quadrant labels, or add/move positioned elements.
To run this task you must have the following required information:
> X and Y axis dimensions and quadrant labels (or use a standard framework like BCG)
If you don't have all of this information, exit here and respond asking for any extra information you require, and instructions to run this task again with ALL required information.
---
You MUST use a todo list to complete these steps in order. Never move on to one step if you haven't completed the previous step. If you have multiple read steps in a row, read them all at once (in parallel).
Add all steps to your todo list now and begin executing.
## Steps
1. [Read Executive Visual Prompts]: Read the documentation in: `./skills/sauna/[skill_id]/references/executive.visual.prompts.md` (Get the positioning matrix prompt template)
2. Ask the user for their matrix details:
- What strategic framework? Or custom dimensions?
- BCG Matrix: Market Growth vs. Market Share
- Ansoff Matrix: Market (New/Existing) vs. Product (New/Existing)
- Risk/Reward: Risk Level vs. Expected Return
- Urgency/Importance: For prioritization
- Custom: User-defined axes
- What should the quadrant labels be?
- Any entities to position on the matrix? (optional)
If user says "BCG matrix" or similar, use the standard framework.
3. Construct the image generation prompt using the Market Positioning Matrix template:
1. Start with the base template from the slice
2. Set the X and Y axis dimensions with clear labels
3. Define the four quadrant names
4. Position any entities the user specified
5. Maintain professional, executive-ready styling
6. Use directional arrows to show desirable movement
The final prompt should create a clean, strategic matrix suitable for presentations.
4. [Gather Requirements for Generate Image] The next step has the following requirements: "Text description of the image. Optional: aspect ratio (1:1, 16:9, 9:16, 4:3), style (photorealistic, illustration, painting), mood/lighting preferences.". Search the user's data for this information or ask them directly if needed. Do not proceed until you have this information.
5. [Execute Generate Image Task]: Spawn a subagent and provide it with the requirements gathered above and instructions to read `./skills/sauna/[skill_id]/references/recipes/media.image.generate.md` for its task list
6. Present the generated matrix to the user.
This is suitable for strategy discussions, board presentations, or planning sessions.
Offer to adjust dimensions, quadrant labels, or add/move positioned elements.
