Create Battle Card

Requirements
Competitor name, your product/company context. Recommended: win/loss interview notes, customer quotes, churned customer feedback
2

Check if we have existing competitor intelligence:

  • Look for cached profile at uiCompetitor Profiles Cache
  • If found, use it as starting context instead of researching from scratch

If no cached data, gather context from user:

COMPETITOR

  • Company name and what they do
  • Their target customer
  • Their key selling points

YOUR PRODUCT

  • Your key differentiators vs. this competitor
  • Pricing positioning

CUSTOMER INTELLIGENCE (ask for these—critical for credibility)

  • Deals won against them: Why did customers choose you?
  • Deals lost to them: Why did customers choose them?
  • Customer quotes or case studies mentioning this competitor
  • Common objections prospects raise

If customer intelligence unavailable, note: "Customer quotes needed—update after win/loss interviews"

3

Research the competitor using web search. Focus on:

  • Current pricing and packaging
  • Recent product updates
  • Customer reviews (G2, Capterra)
  • Their marketing claims

Save research notes to uiCompetitor Profiles Cache for reuse.

4

Create a ONE-PAGE battle card (MAXIMUM 50 LINES). Sales reps reference this mid-call—brevity is critical.

Format exactly as follows:

[Competitor] Battle Card
