Create Pitch Deck Outline

Requirements
Initiative to pitch. Audience (execs, board, investors, cross-functional). Goal (approval, budget, awareness).
3

Gather context from the user. A compelling pitch needs:

  1. What you're pitching

    • Product, feature, or initiative name
    • High-level description
    • Why now? (timing catalyst)
  2. The audience

    • Who decides? (execs, board, investors)
    • Who influences the decision?
    • What do they care about most?
  3. The goal

    • What specific decision do you need?
    • What resources are you asking for?
    • What's the timeline for the decision?
  4. Key selling points

    • Problem being solved (with evidence)
    • Traction or validation
    • Competitive advantage
    • Business impact
  5. Constraints

    • How much time for the presentation?
    • Any sensitive topics to avoid?
    • Existing concerns to address?

Check uiProduct Context Profile for existing product/competitive context.
Ask for any missing critical inputs before drafting.

4

Draft the pitch deck outline using the template from the guide:

  1. Adapt the structure for the audience (exec vs board vs technical)
  2. Lead with the problem and its significance
  3. Make the solution clear and compelling
  4. Include concrete proof points (metrics, customers, pilots)
  5. Be direct about the ask
  6. Anticipate objections—prepare appendix slides

For each slide, include:

  • Key message (one sentence)
  • Content bullets
  • Speaker notes

Output the complete deck outline in markdown format.
Note where mockups, data, or additional research is needed.

5

After presenting the outline:

  • Ask if any slides need expansion or different emphasis
  • Offer to draft specific slide content in detail
  • If new competitive positioning, market insights, or value propositions
were developed during this task, offer to update uiProduct Context Profile:
"I refined some [competitive positioning / market context / value props]
while building this deck—want me to add it to your product profile so
    it's available for future content?"
To run this task you must have the following required information:

> Initiative to pitch. Audience (execs, board, investors, cross-functional). Goal (approval, budget, awareness).

If you don't have all of this information, exit here and respond asking for any extra information you require, and instructions to run this task again with ALL required information.

---

You MUST use a todo list to complete these steps in order. Never move on to one step if you haven't completed the previous step. If you have multiple read steps in a row, read them all at once (in parallel).

Add all steps to your todo list now and begin executing.
